Christmas markets in the Netherlands

Christmas markets in the Netherlands- Where are the markets this year

When I think of Christmas markets I often think of Germany, but also in the Netherlands there are many Christmas markets. To get an overview of this, I have listed a number of Christmas markets in the Netherlands. I’m sure the list is not complete, so feel free to add to it in a comment.

Christmas markets in the Netherlands

A Christmas market (German: Weihnachtsmarkt) is a market held, once or often for several weeks, before Christmas. This is mostly a custom in squares in (big) cities like Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A Christmas market, which is often held in the open air, features various stalls, sometimes in the form of a small house, with Christmas items such as baubles and candles, as well as food and drink, such as mulled wine. Are there no Christmas markets in the Netherlands then? Yes there are.

I put some randomly.
